Hostel Information

There are only a few hostel type of accommodation around the conference area. We have not reserved any rooms nor do we vouch for the quality of these accommodations, so please do your research. We recommend booking early as they can fill up far in advance.
YMCA with hostel accommodation is about 4 minutes from the convention center. Click here for rates and please pay close attention to any special requirements at this facility.

Hostelling International is approximately a 30-minute walk from the convention center. Prices are about $30 per person per day to share a dorm room. There are other options as well.

Beach Waikiki Boutique Hostel is located on the other end of Waikiki and is approximately a 30-minute walk to the convention center. The rooms look very basic and are generally dorm accommodation.

Conference Hotels
We have secured accommodation at two hotels close to the conference venue at reduced rates that we hope you find affordable. There are also hostels and similar accommodation nearby. We will be providing a link shortly forconference attendees who want to use one of the two conference hotels. This will allow you to register at the BLS7 rate.
Ala Moana Hotel
Ala Moana Hotel is located across the street from the Hawaii Convention Center and adjacent to the Ala Moana Shopping Center. Rates are $194 for the Kona Tower, and $214 for the Waikiki Tower, single/double occupancy, extra persons is $50 each per night. Rates are subject to Hawaii State Taxes of 14.962%. Rates are valid 3 nights prior or post, based on availability. Cut-off date to make reservations is September 10, 2020. Credit card deposit of one-night will be due at the time of booking a reservation. Pagoda Inn
Our second conference hotel is a little farther away but less expensive. The Aqua Aston Pagoda located near the Hawaii Convention Center and Ala Moana Shopping Center, within walking distance, for convenience and access to major bus lines. The group rate is $149 plus 14.962% tax and a daily amenity fee of $20.70 (single or double occupancy). A credit card deposit for one-night will be due at the time of booking the reservation.
